Working with Himalayan bowls is a journey of itself.  This is only an introduction to some aspects of these amazing bowls and we hope it will enthuse you and open the door to your own further explorations into the world of sound.  

This workshop is designed for people who
« are new to working with singing bowls
« have some experience with them and who might wish to broaden and deepen their relationship with the bowl/s
     they already have

Please bring your own bowl to the workshop.  If you have several singing bowls, please bring a maximum of 3 with you.  If you don't have a singing bowl yet and would like to purchase one before the class, you are welcome to contact me to discuss this process in further detail.  If you don't have a singing bowl you can bring, and wish to 'test the waters' before you invest in one, you are welcome to work with one of the suitable bowls in my group.

You will be able to experience:
« a relaxing and focussing sound bath with gongs, singing bowls and bells
« the sounds of both ancient and modern singing bowls
« how the sounds and differing energetic qualities of some of the bowls affect you physically, mentally, emotionally
     and spiritually

You will learn how to:
« connect energetically with your bowl to find out its purpose and qualities
« explore how your bowl/s interacts with different kinds of playing wands and woods
« use your bowl for different purposes such as meditation, chakra balancing, sound massage, space clearing
« use your bowl in conjunction with your voice to balance your own energy matrix

Connecting energetically with your bowl means that we will guide you through the process of preparing for and accessing intuitive information about your bowl.  This may mean that you experience images, colours, physical sensations or emotions, or impressions, for example, you may have a sense of how the bowl has been used in the past or how it could be used by you now.  You may find that you and your bowl respond in different ways to the various wooden playing wands when we explore this in further detail.  These aspects cannot always be verified and the purpose of getting to know your bowls energetic qualities will require an element of trust and intuition and a willingness to investigate the possibilities.

This workshop will not qualify you as a sound healer or practitioner.  It will, however, teach you various skills for balancing your own energy and for meditating with your bowl.
